An addition to the bone broth recipe, this recipe is a health tonic, hot broth drink, gut healing, flu fighting, the list goes on, this recipe is using the whole bone broth to make a weekly supply to drink daily, you can freeze it in portions if you wish.

Chicken Bone Broth DrinkDifficulty: Easy
A warming and comforting Bone broth drink to keep those winter cold and flu symptoms at bay, you can adjust the herbs and spices to your liking, personally I like it to have a warm kick from the harissa so I tend to be a bit heavy on the portion sizes, in fact you can’t go too wrong with the serving sizes, just play around until you get the right taste for you.
1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
2 tsp of harissa paste
2 tsp Turmeric powder
thumb size piece of ginger
2 Tbsp of Lemon juice
4 litres of chicken bone broth
1 Tbsp of ghee or olive oil
- In a large pot, one that would hold more than 4 litres, add a tbsp of ghee, and gently fry the spices for 2 min until fragrant.
- add the lemon juice, stir, then add the bone broth, simmer for 15min.
- after the 15min strain the stock, you can keep it in the fridge and just reheat when you want a cup of nutritious broth or freeze in batches for those winter days
